“I am very happy with my performance in the race, above all with the last part of the run, the mountain bike circuit wasn´t very technical, and it did not have big hills. So I reached T2 with the New Zealander Braden Currie and Asa Shaw.
I am not used to starting the run section with someone else. It was hard to be behind a fast athlete such as Braden Currie.
In the end, I managed to kick faster and drop Braden before the finish line.
Next week I’ll be racing XTERRA France, one of the hardest races in the European Tour.
It should be a great battle. For now my focus will be resting for maximum recovery
